rsvp vent

I just don't get why people can't write their name and check Yes or No and mail back the RSVP. There's a stamp on the envelope so they don't even have to pay for it. Why did I waste my money getting RSVP cards, envelopes and stamps if people will just expect to say 'hey I'll be there'.

NO, send me back the damn card. I don't want your verbal response I want proof that you will or will not be there.

Ugh... this is really going to bother me when the time comes for my RSVPs. I'm going to respond with 'Great, just fill out the RSVP card and send it back, which is what it's there for.' This is a wedding not a freaking BBQ.
