RSVP Vent

My RSVP deadline is August 4th, I've only got back a little less than half of what I sent out.

People need to get a move on it!!!! I'm not sure what te problem is. Your RSVP envelope comes with a stamp.. just write your name and how many are attending!!!! . . .

However I feel they are going to hit my mailbox like a hurricane this week

I was in exactly the same boat, and feeling the exact same way. I really don't understand what the big deal is for people. I didn't even care if they sent the cards, as long as they notified me some way...but even a few days before the wedding we were still waiting for some responses. One person showed up the day-of after responding no!! But it all works out. It's frustrating in the moment, but you'll see, it will all be fine and you won't be thinking about it the day of.

Well even though the RSVP is for this coming Thursday I will wait until that Monday to start calling people to make sure they got the invite and if they are coming.

I need to know so I can start working on the seating and get my favors ordered. I have to order my favors real soon.

Our RSVP date is Thursday and I plan on making calls on Friday.

It's annoying because I need to make menus, place cards, seating charts, and God knows what else and I can't really finish this without a final number.

I agree!! Its annoying when ppl dont respond! Frankly, I think its rude and disrespectful because you are not showing no interest in someones big day!! We need to know so we can pay for the venue flowerist...etc.
My deadline is August 1 I am still waiting for 36 more! I am so stubborn that I will not call these last ppl... I give them until thursday then after that no more guest!! I will so call them and tell them the deadline was the 1st and I already paid for my stationary since the 3rd. lmao... which will be such a lie... but COME ON!!!!!
