Should Septemebr 6 be spelled out like that?

Is it 'accept', 'decline' or 'accepts', 'declines'

This is how we did ours. Diana just finished it today...
we're filling in the second line '__ of __' with the number of people actually invited. That way people just can't assume they can bring others.

How do they know how many spaces are held for them?? By the envelope?

Mine say:

[ ] yes, __ of ___ will be attending

[ ] no, we regret that we cannot attend
