Hello Ladies! I finally picked out our invitation and stuck on the RSVP wording. I don't want people to put 10 are attending on the rsvp card but I would like to know exactly who is coming. Does anyone have suggestions on how to do the rsvp card. Thanks in advance!!

Re: RSVP Wording Question?
I'm not sure how this works myself, but the way I see it, if the invite is addressed to 'mr.&mrs. John smith' no one else is invited! Therefore, the rsvp card should not read more than 2...unless you're addressing an invite to an entire family (we're doing this for some), than it should not read an RSVP count that is greater than the # of people living in the home! Don't let people get out of hand with this! I have very strict views on this LOL. The people invited are the people whose names are written on the invite--end of story!

Re: RSVP Wording Question?
We put
'___ seats are reserved in your honor'
___ accept with pleasure ___ Number of persons ___ decline with regret
We filled in the top number. I haven't mailed them out yet, but let's see if that makes it clear to them.
HTH!

Re: RSVP Wording Question?
@ luvstruck, I REALLY love that idea! I think IRS a great way of putting your foot down, in a polite way, of course, about the fact that people can't **** around with their guest count! Great call! I'm totally having our invites designer do that! Thank you!!

Re: RSVP Wording Question?
We did ours like this:
'Join us for a night of dinner and dancing!
We have reserved ___ in your honour.
___ Accepts with pleasure
___ Declines with regret'
and then I just hand wrote the number of seats the invitation is meant for.
