RSVPs

RSVPs

With only 17 days left to the wedding we are still having RSVP issues. Some people just don't give a Shi+.
I posted yesterday about 1 of the GM who replied as 2, now coming by himself. Then last night my parents received a phone call from my dads cousin & she can no longer come to the wedding because her granddaughter is in some music concert that night.
But the topper has to be todays phone call. My aunt calls my mom & tells her that she was speaking to my dads other cousin & she said, Oh I will see you at the wedding. My aunt turned to her & said, I saw the response list this weekend & your not on it. My dads cousin just turns around & say, well of course I will be there.

UGHHHHH

Re: RSVPs

ppl are crazy
what they think we are playing games over here?? this is money and a lot of organization involved

all I keep thinking is that when its going to be their turn for something like this I will repay in the same 'kindness'

I have a similar situation: little FSIL says to me when she was here on spring break my bf isnt coming, ok I said I'll put u down as 1. now she turns around and say he will be there, he might be there, I am not sure!
and that is all in 2 convos during 2 days
FH got sick of it and told her to send an RSVP with the exact # and that is the # she has to bring

ppl make me sick

Re: RSVPs

To say people are inconsiderate I think is being too nice. I am trying so hard to just deal with it & not get upset with everyone, but its very hard.

The worst has got to be my recently married friends, who all received STD's, texting me saying, 'Since when is the wedding on a Friday?'
1st of all you received a STD in April 2009.
2nd everytime I say or write or type the date of the wedding I always put, Friday, first.

For serious people. I can not wait until Hawaii.

The cell phones are being turned off & no one is to bother us.

Re: RSVPs

ugh so annoying!! I am dreading the rsvp deadline bc I feel I definitely won't have them all by then.

Here is one of my issues (along with all the other crap I have been complaining about on here with the past few days about this) FH's aunt had originally refused to send the response card back because she wanted it as a momento (not a close aunt) and wanted to verbally reply (and I am being a stickler about people sending the d*mn card back). I said I am not counting anyone as coming or not coming unless the card is sent back (and I had to tell at least 5 other people to do so...is it really that difficult to put a pre-stamped self addressed envelope in the mail?). So aggrivating.

I had the same problem with some people. They just didn't want to mail the damn card back. So annoying.
