RSVPs

Hey Guys,

I have two questions...

1. when you mail out your invitation with the rsvp are you putting stamps on the rsvp envelopes?

2. I am getting married on 8.30.14....i made the rsvp date 7/1/14 because it is a holiday weekend and I know no one ever replies on time....but now I am thinking about it and i feel like it may be too early...I am not gonna drive myself nuts over it. It is what it is at this point....ah well! LOL

Re: RSVPs

Yes you stamp the RSVP envelope.
I am 8-22 and I think our RSVP date is 7-29......but if you can't change it don't think about it, if some are late maybe give it an extra week or 2.

Re: RSVPs

yeah we put stamps on the RSVP envelope.. our wedding is also a holiday weekend, May 25 (sunday of memorial weekend) and our RSVP date is April 20, so just about 1 month before.. i do feel like that is very early for your RSVP date, but it's not the end of the world... I agree with above, since it is a very early RSVP date, I would wait a couple of weeks to contact anyone who didn't RSVP since you have extra time

Re: RSVPs

Yes we are stamping our RSVP envelopes.

Our RSVP date is 6/2 for our 7/11 wedding date. We're sending out invites Monday. We're hoping to have time to give out invites to 'B' List guests if necessary.

Definitely provide stamps on the RSVP envelopes. For our 8/9 wedding the RSVP date is 6/27 (to get it in before 4th of July before everyone forgets or heads out to vacation!).

Yes to stamps on the rsvp envelope. Don't worry about it being too early, you are going to have some people you will have to call for responses anyway. Also you should always give yourself enough time to not only invite from you B-list if some from your A-list can't make it, And make sure you have enough time to get a complete count about a week before you have to tell the venue how many to expect. Better to have too much time than not enough.

Good Luck and enjoy the process.

Yes to stamps (went with postcards so I am stuck with hummingbirds...) and my RSVP is 6/1 for my 7/12 wedding, its 6 weeks. Don't stress yourself. Sometimes this website makes me stressed when I don't need to be lol. The worst thing that will happen is a- someone will say wow that is an early rsvp date, and b- people will miss the deadline. Oh well. It would be far from the first wedding that had late RSVPs.
