RSVP's have started arriving!
Yesterday, FH and I came back from seeing a play in the city and we received our first two RSVP's...
his parents and their best friends. Four more today. All yes!
So earlier today, FH is on the phone with one of his friends (only sees him a couple of times a year, they used to work together at his last job) and asks him if he got the invite and if he's coming. FH's friend said, 'Uh, yeah, not sure yet' Is he waiting for a better offer for July 4th?![]()
We did send out STD's last August. Before I could say anything FH said if his friend's going to be that indifferent maybe he really isn't his friend and he hopes that such people will not come. FH got the impression that his friend wasn't looking forward to coming. That baffles me.
I just hate the fact that the no's tend to drag their feet even though they know they won't be coming from the get go.
