Hello ladies! What is the approximate average for 'no'/will not attend responses? We have some out of towners, that I read is usually about 50%, and then for locals, it's usually about 10-20%. I just want to make sure I meet my minimum...150 guaranteed, with about 200 to be invited (about 50 out of town)...any thoughts?

Re: RSVPs that were 'No'
It depends on a lot of different variables like what day of the week your wedding is...does it fall close to a holiday?
I attended a wedding the other night...(it was a Monday night wedding) the bride and groom invited 105 guests and they had 100 attend!

95 rsvp'd yes, and we ended up having 91 the day of the wedding.
the no shows were guests who were invited with a date, but never brought one.

Re: RSVPs that were 'No'
We invited 307.
Our 'Almost' final count is 151, including us. Most of FH's family is OOT, but we were really surrpised by a lot of people not coming. I think Father's day/graduations/baptisms had something to do with it.

2/3 of our wedding is OOT- and we were right at the 20% No average

Re: RSVPs that were 'No'
My guarantee is 175. My A list is 206 people. B list has an additional 30 people. Should I invite everyone at once or wait for RSVP no's? 20% of 200 is about 160. If I invite the entire roughly 240 people, with 20% RSVP'ing no..it will be about 192. I don't want to go over 200--what do you guys think? A list before B list--or all at once?

Re: RSVPs that were 'No'

Re: RSVPs that were 'No'
We are having a lot more people respond no than we anticipated. For most events, including weddings, it's safe to assume 20% will say no (OOT included). We invited 250, which means we should have 200 respond yes. But in reality, it's looking like it might actually be around 165 or 170 - which sucks because our minimum is 175.
I would definitely plan to invite more or at least have a B list!

Re: RSVPs that were 'No'
overall, it usually averages 75-80% 'yes,' although it was 70% 'yes' for our wedding because it's on a major holiday, july 4th.

Re: RSVPs that were 'No'
we had a really large # of No's! Some were OOT but some were local. Our min was 130, we invited 190 figuring we would have about 150-160 with the traditional 'no' rates, and we are only having 134!!!
