Re: rude people
Can't you leave some other foul thing in his house?I can certainly think up a few. Or next time they come over put out (as a joke of course) a gift basket full of condoms in the bathroom with a few disposable baggies next to them? I would embarass the &!?% out of them because they deserve it!
I had a friend do something like that during a party - she went into my guestroom and had a romp session with her boyfriend. Everyone could hear her as she proceeded to yell like she was doing a screen test for a porno movie. Give me a break - you're not in high school sneaking a quickie in your parents basement for God's sake. NASTY!! When they were finished, I was sure to make a HUGE scene of changing the sheets and blankets on the bed and said I didn't want others sleeping over to have to lie in their leftovers!!

Re: rude people
If he's your DHs best friend, I don't know how you could forbid him from ever coming over. I think you should speak with this friend and let him know how disgusted/disrespected you feel and then not see him for a while. Let everyone absorb what was said and let you heal. Things might be uncomfortable for everyone involved, otherwise.
I mean, was it close to the garbage where he could have maybe - in his drunken stupor - missed? Overlooked it? I dunno...

I dont understand how he thought he threw it away. But he said he thought he flushed it down the toilet.

Re: rude people
Well, it's nasty, but if I read your posts right, they were very drunk, and he did send flowers and an apology later, when he sobered up, so maybe it was just another stupid thing done by a drunk and he's trying to make amends. I vote for distancing yourself from them for awhile, then keeping the socializing in public while he has time to grow up.

Re: rude people
I have a feeling that it was the alcohol that clouded his judgement. I'm not saying it was okay, it was definitely RUDE and uncalled for. But maybe it was an honest mistake made by someone who wasn't thinking clearly.
I'd definitely let him know how you felt about it, but then I'd just let it go. I'm sure he's embarassed about it.
Sounds very immature. What a dope...

I think it is disrespectful that he even DID that as a guest in your home... he couldn't wait 8 hours until he got to his own house?!? I'd be really ticked off
