Rudeness.

I've gotten that, too. Actually, a friend of mine is getting married in April and when she told a mutual friend of ours where she was getting married, the friend replied, 'I hate that place. We looked there and thought it ******.' No one knew how to even reply to that. She had enough sense to try to backtrack and make up some kind of story about why she thought it ******, but it was really obvious that she was just judging the place.

She got married herself a few months ago, and her wedding was lovely. However, it was not the Wedding of the Century that she tries to tell everyone that it was.

People need to mind their own business.

People are so rude! I have gotten a lot of that over my date since we are getting married in the dead of winter lol. People are like 'ohh why don't you want to get married in the warmer weather??' It makes me SOO mad and I usually say something like 'because we are paying for our wedding ourselves and its VERY EXPENSIVE to get married in the warmer months'. People just critique everything. We all have different opinions and tastes and it should be that way! That's what makes everyones wedding special and unique. Otherwise we would all be getting married at the same place, on the same day! lol

Something similar just happened to me!!! Except not strangers. I told a friend I was getting married at Flowerfield, and she proceeds to tell me all the bad things they noticed when they went there. It hurt my feelings, more than anything, because we've been through so much trying to find a place. But, whatever, you just have to let it roll off. YOU picked it for a reason. Make it your own and enjoy your wedding.
