sorry to crash but def check out the 11 board a recent bride had a really bad experience with them
imo, i would not go through with an appt if someone was nasty on the phone, we spend way too much money as brides to not deal with nice vendors

I don't understand how vendors who act like this expect to get business.
Honestly, I have read alot of bad reviews about this firm on the boards, there was one just posted this week where the bahavior was outrageous!
If someone was rude to me on the phone I would not continue w/ an appt.

IT IS ALMOST A RELIEF THAT OTHER BRIDES HAVE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE BECAUSE AT ONE POINT I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS ME!?!

we had an appointment with them last month. We don't know at what time our ceremony will be so when we were filing out the data about the event we didn't fill that in and he guy said. This is not a test! Why isn't all the information here?
We said, we entered as much as we could. He could've been a little nicer about it! OK, we made a mistake and maybe shouldn't be going on Limo appointments until we have all the timeframes but that was the wrong way to say it! Then we're sitting on the 14 passanger limo, he gets a call and while in the middle of a conversation with us, says, excuse me and takes the call, really?? You can wait 2 more minutes??? we were in the middle of a sentance!
So, yeah, I don't think we're using them as much as we liked their prices and we're getting 20% off because they come recommended by our RH!

I actually went to Royalty the other day with out an appointment. I dealt with Matt, who was a younger guy. Very nice, not pushy or snobby at all. Answered all my questions, showed me every limo I asked about. Gave me a very good price too.

I would never meet with a company that was rude with me on the phone. Even if you go there and you meet with someone that is not rude. I would be so anxious about whether I get the rude person or nice person on the day of my wedding!

You do not need to know the exact timing to go to a limo appointment. Either they are available for your date or not. I do not believe that any limo company would use the same limo for two different events for the same day. Even so, if they are cutting it that close that an hour or two difference would be a deal breaker then I would not want to work with them anyway.

Royalty is awful.
We had a bad experience for my sister's wedding but bc of good reviews I was willing to give them another chance.
The guy at the bridal show at my hall was like 'We do 600 weddings a year, you can go to someone else'

I have also heard some terrible things about Royalty. They also have a tuxedo rental place attached and they were horrible each time we had to deal with them!

it all depends on who you talk to because I am actually booked with royalty and they have been very nice and accommodating with my fh and I. All my friends actually booked with them too and didn't have problems.
Sorry that you girls did have a bad experience though.

I'm sorry to here that. We used Royalty Limo for my friend's bachelorette party & my wedding and were very happy.
On the day of my wedding, they arrived on time and actually upgraded me to a bigger party bus than we had expected! Then, as we were pulling out of my parent's driveway to the CHURCH, my crazy, perpetually drunk, needs-to-be-on-some-kind-of medication neighbor actually BARGED into my limo and wouldn't stop ranting and raving and wouldn't let us leave! Royalty's driver handled it...if anything, he was a lot nicer to her than she deserved.
When we got to the church, everyone piled out and I was in the limo with just the driver when I started to get really nervous, like, OMG this is it...everyone is looking at me! I was on the verge of totally freaking out and the limo driver just told me to take a deep breath & was so encouraging & really genuinely caring. I'm sorry if this person was rude to you, but that was one person & I think what really matters is what happens the day of the wedding. Good Luck & Happy Planning.
