Haha! I was ready too, but it wasnt too bad. I was second in line though, so I had a ton of dresses! I had a mountain. I bought a Stephen Yearick gown, normally $3000, for $500! Though, I ended up buying another dress at Kleinfelds!

Thats so funny! I usually can't pass up a good deal, but I don't think I could handle that!! Anyone ever see that episode of 'Friends' when Monica was looking for her dress!! It totally reminded me of that whistles and all!!

My friend is planning to go to the sale after work today, hopefully she'll still be able to find something. I think she might, since she's really really petite.

Almost everything was a size 10 just so you know. She will have to have almost any dress there taken in. I was second in line last year, and got there around 2am. Honestly, I was done around 10 or 11, and all the staff was putting the dresses back on the racks, and there were tons left! I almost wish I went at noon after the madness! Then you risk someone buying the perfect dress, but there are sooooo many! They start to all look the same!

Re: Running of the Brides
I heard about this event this morning on the news! Little did I know that during my morning coffee at work I'll decide to go to the store during my lunch break! I was also able to get my mom to go with me as she works 20 minutes away from Union Square. :) Since I had limited time, I didn't have much hope of finding anything there. I just wanted to experience the fun! :) I spent a bit more than 1 hour there and was almost about to leave, but decided to try on one more dress. That was it!!!!!!! :) I am sooo very happy! The dress is by Fontana. I've never heard that designer brand before. It was originally more than $4,000 but I got it for $699. I know it still sounds expensive, but the dress is gorgeous and I felt right away it was 'THE ONE'. I am soo very happy and excited!!!
