Russos on the bay

What do you think of Russos on the Bay? I live right near there and I have been to a lot of events. However, they put on an excellent wedding. So I am up in the air. Let me know your opinions. Thanks!!!

my sister JUST had her reception at Russo's last Saturday and everything was perfect! Seriously people can't stop talking about the amount of food and how the entree's were actually hot when they came out.

It really was phenomenal! I have a lot to live up to now cause all the same people will be attending my wedding at the Fox Hollow in March!

My friend got married there in March (during that terrible ice storm) and the food was phenominal!! I also like when halls have a separate waiter getting drinks for guests too. Since about 20 of her guests couldnt make it because flights were cancelled and it was impossible to drive from eastern LI to Queens in that weather, she told me her banquet manager gave her a credit for 20 people so if she has something else there, she can put that towards it. I thought that was nice of him.

Now for the bad....
Since there was so many parties going on, valet had to park cars on the street. A plow came by and side swiped a bunch of guests cars. (You would have thought they would have stopped at one but noo he kept going) Anyway kinda out of Russos hands. Also, FMIL went there for a cop/fd function and a bunch of cars on the street got broken into. This is why we rented a town car to take us to the wedding.
