Rustic wedding for 125?

Hey there! I'm a new bride-to-be, and my finacee and I are looking to have a rustic type wedding on LI but we don't want to break the bank. We are thinking about the Jedediah Hawkins Inn, or Old Field Club. We definetly want something that's an actual venue (not a legitimate barn), but it's ok if we need to bring in our own caterer.

Any suggestions?

Rustic wedding for 125?

I wanted a rustic place too, but I found limited affordable options on LI. I loved The Riveria in Massapequa. It has nice dark wood and kind of a barn like feel, but it's still a wedding venue that handles everything. We did not choose it because it couldn't fit the 200+ people that my fiance wanted to invite, but I love it.

Rustic wedding for 125?

Old Field Club has a beautiful reception room, but is very expensive and has a really tiny cocktail hour room (but you do get to use the outside as well for cocktail hour).

One of my BMs has a sister that's getting married at Jedediah Hawkins in May and has had nothing but good things to say about her experience so far.

You could look at Martha Clara Vineyards, The Hydrangea Farm and Gardens (Salt Air Farm), or Hallockville Farm Museum.

Beware of the site fees at the vineyards. Some of them aren't so bad if you're having your wedding during the off-peak season, but it can still get pretty pricey.

THIS!!!

I'm a bit biased, of course, but the Riviera is just what you're describing and perfect for the 125 guests you're expecting!

Rustic wedding for 125?

These are great tips!! The Rivera looks nice! I'm not wild about the fabric on the chairs, but they might look ok without it.

Does anyone know offhand how much a Sat night wedding is per person there?
