don't give up yet!
try to get a co-op.....when they hear your sitaution and meet you in person, they may bend the rules for you a little.
also, we didn't put our co-op in both of our names.....we got it before we were married, but since i make more money and have better credit, the mortgage and co-op are in my name.....but they knew i was getting married, and Tom came with me to the co-op interview. They had no problems with that....
