Don't feel sad. The people who truly love you and Dave will be there (barring financial difficulties obviously) and you will have the most wonderful day.

When you look back on your wedding - you'll look back with joy and love and elation. The people who can't make it b/c of finances don't love you any less and the people who aren't coming b/c of his crazy mom - well - you won't miss them anyway.

It's b/c you got into work so early. Goddamn these early mornings.

You are without a doubt, besides DebisMom , the most thoughtful and giving person on these boards. It is their loss to not be with you on your wedding day and I only hope that you realize this. I wish you nothing but joy and happiness and remember, you will be there and so will Dave. Everyone else is just icing on the cake.

Aww im so sorry jess! I know how you feel though, I was surprised by some of the No's I got as well, but in the end on that day its not going to matter who wasn't there, but who was there! Your going to have an amazing day regardless, because you love one another and that means the most!
