Thanks everyone for your kindness. I just got back from the wake and many people did ask. Like I just posted, I think people want to talk about happy topics, but right now I can't be cheery about things. Don't get me wrong, I am still looking forward to my wedding, i just can't be all bubbly and cheery about it at the moment.

So my uncle passed Monday night after a long battle with cancer, he is in a better place now.

But now I have no motivation to do anything wedding related! Today I get to see my sample centerpieces, but then have to go to the wake. I just don't even want to see the flowers. And I know people are going to ask me about the wedding and I don't want to talk about it. (when I went to visit him in the hospital last week, people kept asking)

I am totally with you!!! Soooooooo sorry for your loss. I am experiencing the same thing. Just found out last night that my only livign Aunt has liver cancer and it's terminal and very advanced and has a few months. My wedding is 3 months from today and I don't want to do anything for it.
