i really wanted to get my fiance a nice watch for his wedding gift, but money is just too tight. we're barely affording the wedding (we're paying for everything on our own) and decided that it's best to just skip gifts.

i wanted to get him a little something though. any suggestions that won't break the bank?

i actually bought my fiance a watch on amazon for like $60 that retails for $500 and it's really 'cool' looking

I got FH an NYPD set that came with a pin, cufflinks, key chain, money clip and tie clip. It only cost me like 45 bucks and it came in a really nice box.

I also got him a flip cam. He used it the morning of and on his way to the church.

We did the same love. When you pay for everything yourself - its hard.

I made FH a frame with LOVE YOU spelt out in scrabble letters, he loved it

we paid for everything ourselves also, so we didn't gift each other anything (but i did do bpics for him)
i did, however, get a really beautiful card, hand made for him with a special poem inside and had his sister give it to him the mornin of the wedding. She told me that he teared up when he read it, and that it was the sweetest thing he had ever received - so that kind of made my day

This is what I got my FH, we are also exchanging cards of course... I understand about the money tight.

we're exchanging letters. I know you feel! I am killing myself trying to get FH the watch he wants. I am charging a little more than half, and paying the rest in cash....stinks!!

Try keeping your eye out for a sale at macys or something for a nice inexpensive watch. is he into sports???
