Sad, but have to leave the 08 board for awhile

So I am a regular poster but am using a different name now. I have decided that I can't come to the 08 board any more. I feel so bad saying this....but every time I come on, I always see all these posts about Mommy's To Be. I am so happy for all of you who have been lucky enough to get pregnant so easily. I apparently am no Fertile Myrtil and haven't been so lucky. It kills me every time I see these threads. Once again, I got my period today so I'm back to square 1. I don't mean to be a downer or take away from anyone's joys by posting this. This just makes me so sad.

I love LIW and the 08 board and appreciate everyone's thoughts and comments over the last year or so that I've been on here. Hopefully my situation will change soon. I'm sure I'm not the only one having thse problems on here and hope for the best for the rest of you too.

Heave you been on LIF, there is a TTC board and the girls there are wonderful and very supportive.

There are girls ont here who have been only trying a fews months to girls who have been trying for over 15 months. Its a great board to check out, trust me they will make you feel better

i know how you feel - we've been trying, only for 3 months, but still nothing. this month it really hit me hard. at least until after the holidays i'm taking a break from all the charting, and just take it as it comes. it's very frustrating, but your time will come. and when it does, let us know so you can be placed on the 08 mommies list! if you haven't already, check out the TTC forum on LIF - there are lots of women there who can relate.

I'm so sorry that you are having a hard time TTC. It is very disheartening when you hear how easily some women become pregnant and you are not one of them. Please take comfort in knowing that you are not alone. I have a family member that had a very difficult time conceiving... now she has 2 children! When the time is right it will happen for you!

Honestly I can't get preggers so far but we haven't really tried but not stopped anything. If you keep trying and it's been a year of trying then I would consult your dr. That is what we are going to do until then I am fine being with just DH. We are still learning and growing as a couple even though we have been together for 7 years. Sometimes its when you stop trying stuff like this happens.

Either way sorry that your going whoever you are, I hope you soon iwll get happy news and can join us again.

Aw i am so sorry you are going through this...If you need to talk or vent please FM me, we are TTC right now as well.

honestly this is so common- it took my best friend almost a year and the doctor told her that the average was a year for a healthy couple. hang in there and I hope it happens for you guys soon.

amazing how easy it is to get preggo when you are not trying- maybe take some pressure off and go on a weekend away with your dh and just enjoy each other's company

I am so sorry you are going through this, have you talked to a dr. usually it happens when you least expect it. but I understand how your feeling, my niece and her husband will never conceive and I know how depressed she feels when others do, she was born with very tiny ovaries and a defected uterus, there is nothing any dr. can do for her. so she feels like she has been robbed of so much, I have set for many hours with her, so if you need to talk please fm me. but if a dr. has not ruled out any problems please keep trying and have faith . it will happen.

sorry to see you go. I understand how much it could hurt to be reading those posts you've mentioned. I haven't been trying to conceive at all, so i can't relate to what you're exactly going through - but there is a part of my life i'm very sensitive about and when i hear people talk about this one topic, it is very painful. So hear you, and i wouldn't wish that kind of hurt on anybody.

i know exactly what you're going through hang in there, but the other girls are definitely right, head over the TTC on li families they are all wonderful ladies over there and very supportive Best of luck to you and your DH!

I'm sorry that you are having a tough time. One of my friends is going through this right now. After having another friend go through this my best advice is to take it easy and if after a year go to a RE to see whats going on.
