I have a friend who only has boys and she is so grateful because she says they are WAY easier than girls...and she should know--she grew up with 4 other sisters!

and her grandfather was surprised that she was flirting with grown men why???

if the kid acts like she is 18 in every other aspect of her life why would this be different?

i really feel bad for that little girl - i remember being 10 and boys and highlights were the LAST thing on my list of worries. i wish her luck.

trust me - i feel bad for her too and i have had MANY conversations with her parents about her. . conversations where i said many things that it just wasn't MY place to say. . . and at first i was told they would take care of it

now, i get that *she will have no idea until she has kids* look - which infuriates me. So i gave up. But guess what? i WILL have an idea when I have kids and my kids will NOT be like that *gasp* i said it . . .and i DIDN'T jinx myself bc I refuse to believe that I could be a parent that would allow that to happen at that age.

You are totally allowed to say that you will have more control over your own children than others do. You know I teach 10 year olds and NONE of them are acting that way. This mother is going to be taught one quick lesson when her 'baby' comes home at 12 years old prego.

We all have such negative things to say about todays kids but we often forget that they are all products of todays PARENTS! It makes me want to throw up!
