I lost my grandfather in '99 like this. He found out he had lung and bone cancer and 2 weeks later he passed. (he was only about 65) We were all devastated. Looking back though we dont know which would have been worse, having him suffer through chemo in hopes it worked, or having to live with it for that short time.

Sorry for your loss. i know the feeling all too well having lost my granmother almost 2 months ago. One of the nicest things that someone said was that she could enjoy the wedding pain free and would be watching over me that day.
