Sad day today

Sad day today

I am spending my 2nd Valentine's Day in 3 years burying a grandmother. This was FI's grandmother who was a bit sick, but not expected to die now. She passed away Monday night from blood poisoning. We thank God that it was quick. This grandmother always wanted to look at my e-ring because she said it was a symbol of happiness and was very excited for our wedding. She said she didn't care how sick she was, she wanted to see us get married. It will be sad that she won't be with us in July, but I know she will be with us in spirit, at her husband's side.

I am sorry for your loss.

I buried my grandmother 9 years ago a week ago today. I know how you feel.

She WILL be with you in spirit.

Thank you for your kind words. I will be with the family today and we think about how she is no longer suffering and reunited with her husband.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how you feel, my grandmother died on Valentine's Day and I've never liked this day for that reason. My deepest sympathies to your family.

I am so sorry to hear. My sympathies to you and your family.

Try to keep some of the excitement she had about your wedding in your heart. As long as you keep her memory and spirit alive, she will never be far away.

Claudia, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my grandmother on Halloween and it really put a damper on my planning for a few months. I am sure that our grandmothers will be with us when we get married on July 5th, even though we wont be able to see them
