sad, fustrated- vent I HATE WINTER

This may sound silly but I just need to vent.

I had an accident Saturday night after TWOTY.

I slipped on ice in my driveway. I pulled mussels in my shoulder, (not so much of a big deal, it will heal) my arm & hand are swollen so my e-ring doesn't fit).

I cut my face open, real bad. I have stitches on the inside and 7 on the outside. It is extremely painful even with the rx. I can't open mouth normal talking is limited Chances are I am going to have a scar. I was informed that I could have the scar laser removed, but have to stay out of the sun.

FH & I booked a cruise for a month from now, that we'll probably have to cancel

I hate winter too and I hope you feel better. Don't cancel your trip- go online and find serious sunblock for people with vitilago or other skin issues that can't be in the sun and have good time, it will be a nice break

OMG! I am so sorry that happened! I hope you feel better soon!

And I used maderma for my knee surgery scar and it helped 100%

I am sorry about that I am sure it won't be too bad!!

Try maderma and also cocoa butter; they worked wonders on my surgery scar

oh no!!!!! i'm so sorry hun!

i hope you feel better soon. as soon as you can, start putting vitamin e on the scar. i did that for the scar on my leg and it's barely noticeable now.

i fell on the ice on new year's eve, and luckily i walked (limped) away with just a bruised hip. this weather can be brutal!

OMG i'm so sorry that happened

i was piggybacking somebody a few years ago and he tripped on the sidewalk and i went flying and scraped my the side of my face which left a long J scar. I used maderma everyday and now i don't have a scar anymore. i highly recommend it

Ugh im so sorry! That really stinks!

LIke the other girls have mentioned, use Mederma, it's awesome. You need to be diligent with it though, every single day, or it won't work

SPF it up and go on the trip! You will need the rest, and the getaway from the cold weather (and ice)

There is no way you could stay out of the sun and use plenty of sun block

Sorry to hear. I dont think that you need to cancel your cruise sunblock even a hat will help. Hope you feel better.

Right now I have a bandage over the stitches on my face, I am scheduled to have them removed on Friday. Right now I just feel So sad, scared.

Oh no!!!! Like everyone else said, be sure to put creme on it and follow your Drs orders! If a plastic surgeon stitched you up, you should really not have a huge scar. I split my chin open in HS on a gym floor and my plastic surgeon did it so that I barely have any noticeable scar!

that is terrible! I'm so sorry!!! Feel better...imo you should still go on the cruise....invest in a big hat and just do a lot of relaxing in the shade.
