Yesterday Firefighter Daniel Pudjak died trying to save the lives of others. Dan was my personal trainer and I had been training with him to prepare for the wedding since February. He was professional, extremely nice and so reliable. I had never worked out before on a regular basis and he really taught me a lot. He would often talk about his girlfriend who he had been dating for a few years and was considering marriage. Everyone at the Y loved him because he was so friendly. He was only 23 years old. My prayers go out to his family.

That's so sad. I heard about that in the newspaper and a friend of mine works with his father. It really is so terrible.

Re: Sad News...
I went to Grammer School with Daniel and He is also My FH's cousin. We are all still in shock and extremely saddened by his passing. Daniel was a smart, talented, funny, athletic kid in school. Even at a young age he was involved with a lot of after school programs and community events. Although i hadn't seen him in years, you just never forget the people you grew up with as a child. I didn't think i would make it through the funeral today after how hard the wake was, so FH went on without me, but i did watch the service online so i could pray along with everyone. He has wonderful parents and a wonderful family, and i will continue to pray for them everyday. And his poor girlfriend, i can't imagine what she is going through and i only pray she can find some peace. And as for us St. Cecilia class of 97 grads.. we all love you Daniel, You will never be forgotten, and i can only hope that more people follow in your example of being the type of person who gives, loves and lives life to the fullest. may you rest in peace.
