Sad News...

Sad News...

Yesterday Firefighter Daniel Pudjak died trying to save the lives of others. Dan was my personal trainer and I had been training with him to prepare for the wedding since February. He was professional, extremely nice and so reliable. I had never worked out before on a regular basis and he really taught me a lot. He would often talk about his girlfriend who he had been dating for a few years and was considering marriage. Everyone at the Y loved him because he was so friendly. He was only 23 years old. My prayers go out to his family.

It is so tragic.

The fire was started by a cigarette that was left out burning. If you are a smoker, please be responsible.

OMG I heard about this on the news last night. Its so sad. He was so young too!!!!!

I'm so sorry for his family and his girlfriend - I am constantly amazed at how brave firefighters are and hope they always get the recognition they deserve.

I saw this on the news - so extremely sad. A fire started by a single cigarette that was left unattended. Apparently he either tripped or couldn't see very well because of the heavy smoke, but when he was heading to the ladder (he was on the roof), he fell off. So horrific - he was so young too!

My prayers are with his family and everyone who knew him.
