Sad News

Well last week I miscarried our 'honeymoon baby'. It has been such a emotional, rollercoaster time. I am trying to be gentle with myself and roll with all the emotion. It is difficult though... I really wanted the baby. My DH has been the absolute best - I couldn't ask for more love, understanding or support. So even in this very sad time I feel so blessed to have him by my side going through this with me.

I go to the dr. at the end of the week. Of course, my first question is going to be - when can we start trying again - and how long does it take to recover from a D and C.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It must be so hard for you, but it does sound like you and your husband are really supporting each other though this difficult time. Please post and let us know how your Drs visit goes.

You have a strong and loving hubby to be so supportive at a time like this. As soon as you feel 'right' to start TTC again, im sure it will be ok. I think they say to wait 1 or 2 cycles, depending on the Dr.

I am so sorry to hear this. It's difficult to find the words to help you through this rough time but know that we are all here for you.

Jeanene, I am so sorry to hear your sad news!! Believe me, I totally understand your pain for I went through a miscarriage myself this past September and had a D&C. The dr told me that you have at least 2 natural cycles before you should start trying again. I became pregnant again after 3 and how ironic, but I'm due the day before the date I miscarried.

I am so sad for you and your DH. Give yourself all the time you need to heal. From what I have heard you need a full cycle before you can start to TTC again.
