Sad News...Please pray...
A good friend of ours just passed away about an hour ago. After suffering for so long with bladder cancer and a painful tumor on his leg, God took him home. He was so young, just in his late 30's, so full of life, energy, humor, that anyone who met him just loved him. He had such a way about him that no matter what you were going through he'd make YOU laugh(even when he was sick!)! Even until just a few days before he died, right before he wasn't able to communicate anymore, he still had that gleem in his eyes, talking about getting well, and wanting to serve God with all his heart. When he was sick and in pain, he would call people and make them laugh, just because he loved to. When asked about how he was doing, he would never focus on himself, just enjoyed every minute of his life. He talked about getting well, buying a motorcycle, singing at our wedding(WHAT A VOICE!!! He sang in a group and he was phenomenal), and doing whatever it is God wanted him to do. I truly believed God would heal him, but I guess God REALLY healed him. He's not suffering anymore, no more pain, just rejoicing and enjoying God's presence, and finally meeting his Savior Jesus!! How he longed to do that!
I can't begin to explain how much I will miss him, and how sad I am that he will not be at our wedding. I am sobbing as I write this, but I know where he is and Who he's with, and it rejoices my heart. He used to call me Smiley, saying my smile lit up a room. He'd joke that he didn't need headlights at night because my smile was so bright. I will miss that so much! I will miss the jokes, the one liners he would just pop out unexpectedly and make you laugh so hard until your sides hurt! I will miss not being able to hear him sing anymore. My heart hurts for his father, who lost his wife many years ago, and now has only one son left. Please pray for Vincent Saldona. He's so close to getting saved, because of Aldo's witness. I just hurt for his pain as well. Thank you so much for your prayers. God is getting his choir ready, as so many great singers and talent in the Christian field have passed on just recently.
