Sad news...update

I haven't been on in a while, things have been so crazy. My FMIL has throat & lung cancer. Everything happened so fast within a month. First the docs gave her 2-4mths and now she is in ICU and waiting for a spot in hospice. I stopped all wedding plans but I found out tonight from his sister she wrote her a letter saying the wedding must go on. I just don't have it in me I'm so upset. She is actually a MIL that every bride would love to have. I don't know what to do. We were going to get married at her house so she can see it but now we found out she wont make it home. I just need to vent.

Oh my GOsh.. I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through this and your FH.... IF that is her wish for the wedding to go on then you and him should do what her wishes are since she may not be with you... My thoughts and prayers are with you and your FH's Family

So sorry that's a tough spot to be in. I know this sounds realy weird at the moment but if she's going to go hope that she goes quickly and doesn't have to suffer. And if it is her wish for your wedding to go on then follow her wishes for you!

I am sorry to ehear this my FMIL passed away 8 months ago and we are still struggling everyday. She was very involved in wedding planning and was a dream MIL. I know its really hard. everyday i remind myself what she would have wanted.. and try to be positive about the wedding. I feel you pain and i am sorry you have to go through this.
