sad story...

one of my students died this weekend....he was at a party and drank the four lokos in addition to other alcohol and had a heart attack and didnt wake up in the morning.

i hope this is a wakeup call for all the other students and how bad those drinks are for you

they are an alcoholic energy drink that has a LOT of crazy stuff in it. Basically the 'energy drink' part of it negates the alcohol part so you don't think you are as drunk as you really are. SO many people have gotten sick and even died from it at colleges. A lot of states have banned them.

I'm sorry to hear about your student That is so sad, he was so young.

ny banned them too....but the problem is that the students stocked up on them before they took them off the shelves

i heard they took the energy portion out of it when they banned it...thats why its back on shelves??

i took a patient the other day, 17 years old in cardiac arrest after drinking those...so sad.

Thats is so horrible!!!

I never knew what these drinks were till I saw it on tv & in the store... I still see these drinks at 7-11 next to the beers ..just about 3days ago
