Sad.....Asking Bridesmaids

Uhhh I had this whole plan tonight to ask my 7 friends to be in the wedding. We're all going out for my friend's bday and I planned on asking them at her house beforehand. I spent all last night writing out their cards and I ordered the bridesmaid cookies. Unfortunately, my one friend is getting out of work late so the majority of them are waiting for her and now want to go straight to the club so they make it there before 10 to get in for free. Even if it wasn't for this I still feel bad for my friend it just seems all rushed for a matter of how much money....I really wanted to ask them tonight and was so excited, we're prob going to get to the club at different times so then when do I ask them when we're leaving and they're drunk in the parking lot ??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I would regularly confide in my bf but I really wanted this to be a surprise to all of them since they know I'm going to ask; I at least wanted to do it in a surprising way.

I would just set up another night when you can all go out to dinner even if's it is something cheap like the diner.

You dont want to rush it you will regret it!

maybe do a brunch sometime this wknd? i wouldnt stress or rush it tonight.

Everyone has V-day plans and will all be in different places....I'm just concerned now that the cookies will go stale lol

I'm going to be in Long Island for my FSIL's precana mass ceremony and dinner and all my bm's that I want to ask tonight live in Staten Island and New Jersey :(

Sorry to say it might be for the best.
Last thing you want is your friend to be mad that your supposed to be going out for her bday and then the focus gets put on your wedding.
I could be wrong since I dont know how your crew works. jmo

That's a good point, awhile back though she had told me to do it tonight since we'd all be together. and that is rare unless we plan way in advance. I dropped it from then bc I wanted it to be a little bit of a surprise. Either way I def knew it was okay with her, thanks for mentioning that though.

ok heres my idea. After the club, go to the diner and do it there. Order a bunch of teas and coffees, present the cookies and do it that way. It'll be super cute and very surprising.

We all have such different schedules that we literally plan nights like this months in advance....I will keep brainstorming thanks though!

I actually hoped for this to happen so maybe I will bring them with me anyway in my car since I am one of the drivers and just hope for the best....this could be light at the end of the tunnel lol as long as they're not too drunk to recognize what's going on lol thanks!
