when her x-boyfriend Tyler dies in the car crash and the watch that Tyler gave Becca stopped ticking just as the phone rang to tell them that Tyler and Corky were in a car accident

These are all good ones but the one episode that leaves me bawling is when Peter on Thirtysomething gets killed on his bike going over to the hospital to see Ellen who is battling cancer. YOu thought the episode was about Ellen going to die and it just blew you away when it was Peter. I cried for days after that.

The 8 simple rules episode when he dies was just so true because you could see the pain in the actors and actresses eyes...
