Salary NYC vs. LI?

How much of a pay cut can you expect when changing jobs from NYC to LI? Or is there any?

Just curious...thanks!

I recently left my NYC job and found a new one on LI. I braced myself for a pay cut, but I was actually able to negotiate a higher salary and a higher bonus/commission plan.

I guess it depends on the industry you are working in, company that's hiring and how much they want you! I have alot of experience in my field so the new company was chomping at the bit for me to join them.

Good luck! I hope it works out for you.
