Salary Poll: How much money do you make?

I assume you mean individually, not as a couple, right?

Exactly!

umm, right now i make about -$50,000.... about -$18,000 in school loans, and about -$32,000 for the money that i would be making if i went right into teaching instead of grad school

I know you can't do double polling but I think it would be interesting to see the salaries based on where people work. I'd assume people in the city are making a lot more than people on LI but I'd like to see that put to the test.

Think Ron and Liz will agree to putting crosstab polls on here?

Okay congratulations all you 70,000+ people! I'm more than envious

Very true - especially for OOT's like me... In VA i'll be making about $35,000 w/ my masters... on LI I'd be making clost to $50,000

Me five! I'd love to know what they do. I'm thinking it's time for a career change!

Do you have a zero tab??? In two weeks I'll be working for free!!!

If I had stayed on LI, I would be makingwell over 70000(probably close to 90000) as a school counselor after 10 years and a second Master's that I just got. Instead I live where the cost of living is just as high, I work more days and even with extra clubs I supervise and summer school, I make at least 20000 less than NY. So sad...and they just cut our medical benefits again and are charging us more, so it really is a paycut
