SALARY QUESTION - HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

How do I go about this.

I have an interview for a job...in the description they stated what their starting salary was. They require a BS but I will have my Masters in a couple of months...I am hoping that counts for something. How do I approach that issue in the interview. Basically I want more $, but they did state what their starting salary was....

As a general rule, salary is never supposed to be discussed during an interview, only if they make you an offer. Chances are it won't be brought up in an interview, but if it does, it's recommended to turn the question around... like if they ask you what you think you are worth, you turn around and ask them, 'based on my qualifications, what is the standard salary your company normally gives?...' Something like that. Same situation goes for when it comes up during the job offer. There's usually room for negotiation, depending on the company, given you have skills above and beyond what they are looking for.
