Recently someone posted something about a decrease in sales tax? Does anyone know what that was about?

I believe it applied to catering halls but I am not sure. It goes into effect June 1

June 1st we're having our sales tax decreased.

June 1 it will go to 6.25%

WHAT? I missed this... ALL catering halls are being lowered to 6.5%? and does this apply to contarcts already signed???
