Ok, so now NY City doesn't charge any tax on items under $110. If you buy something over $110, do they charge you on the entire amount of the purchase or the additional amount over $110? For instance, if you buy something that's $145, do they charge you tax on $145 or on $35?
Thanks!

Re: Sales Tax Question on BM Dresses
Good question - but I would assume the whole amount, not the difference, after all, this is NY! lol

Re: Sales Tax Question on BM Dresses
Regardless of who's (where) doing the 'no tax' thing, if the single item is over the limit, it gets no discount at all as it is ineligible by being over the price to begin with. good try though.

Thanks! I figured it was the whole thing but, I thought I saw somewhere it was just the difference.
