Hi Ladies- Have any of you tried any of the salons for hair and makeup in the Syosset/Woodbury area? If so what did you think? Any recommendations outside of the list?

I live in the area too and have been having the hardest time finding a haircutter I can trust...I was butchered at Cactus so don't go there (I only use them for my eyebrows). I used to go to Dakotah but they have changed in the quality of service and finished product which they provide. I used Dakotah for about 6 years and since I left it has been one nightmare haircut after another.
I heard great things about Roseanna Amadour and booked her, my trial is in March and I think I'm going to try her out for a trim too.
Let me know if you find someone ...I haven't been able to.

i just had my trial last week at Madison-- loved it!! In the next shopping center fro Madison is Jason Royce--- I haven't been there in years but I like it there too.

Thanks Girls! You work at Entourage? That's great, I think it's fairly new right? Do you guys offer airbrush makeup? I have read that the bride to be should really get airbrush because it makes a big difference.
I'll call the salons and let you girls know if I have any luck--

They moved. There are now on South Oyster Bay Rd. in Plainview.
ID Salon is pretty good. I got my hair and makeup done there for my brother's wedding. i was very happy. Gabrielle was FABULOUS for makeup!

When was your brothers wedding? Maybe I was still working there then?? That would be funny!
It was September 2, 2007. I honestly don't remember who did my hair, but I remember Gabrielle doing my makeup.

I go to Cactus in the Plainview Centre on South Oyster Bay Rd. I swear by Frankie he does wonderful cut and color and Danielle does wonderful up-dos.
