Thinking of going there for my bachelorette party....any ideas? I have never been there Looking for a place with a cool atmosphere, great music, dance floor, big bar...

I love this place because it is HUGE and laid back. It's like Mulcahys in Manhattan!

Are you talking about Saloon on York? I have been there a few times for birthday parties. It's a nice place but the crowd is very young. I was there last Friday and actually ran into some of my former students who graduated 2 yrs ago!

OMG...it was horrible!!!!! I'm 27 and these kids are 19! So they were coming up to us (It was a b-day for one of my co-workers so I was with another 4 teachers) saying hey Ms... and telling their friends oh...Ms. taught me Spanish.

Thanks for the info. Glad that it is like Mulchays, we alwats go there b/ce we like it so much, however I do not want to go there b/c we always do!

Ok cool...thanks...I havent heard anything negative about it, so I am going to look a little more into it...but it looks like the place!
I went a while ago and I agree with the rest of the girls, there were a lot of young people there ... There are a bunch of bars/pub on 2nd Avenue (not sure of the cross streets) back to back, its a lot of fun to bar hop there

I've been there and definitely can be alot of fun. I used to go ALOT back in the days, well a few years ago so not sure what the crowd is like now. What i would do is go to their site and look at their gallery and go to the more recent pics put up, so do all of 08 or just march and feb and see what the crowd is like now. It had already started changing towards the end when i stopped going. Can be good though, it would be good if you get to go during one of their firemen parties

eh. hit or miss. I have fun there from time to time. But I'm usually drunk and my friend is usaully dj'ing.
