My florist made me a sample before I even booked! And I kept it and it was free! Try Designs by Rose. LOVE LOVE LOVE her!

Just wondering...Did your florist provide a sample centerpiece? Did you have to pay for it?
I had some difficulty with a florist (to remain unnamed) who said that she does not do a sample but if I really want one she is charging me the price of the centerpiece $160 bucks! Of course I was allowed to keep it-thanks a lot! Then she has the nerve to send an email to FMIL saying that she cannot work with me because I'm backing her in a corner about the sample. So now I'm looking for a florist again with 9 weeks to my wedding. I guess I should be glad because she was a prententious biatch who was extremely inflexible!
Somethig is wrong with her!
I am getting a sample for no cost.
You are better off with that trash not doing your wedding.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
That is crazy! After an e-mail like that I would definitely find a new florist!!!! My florist is making us a sample centerpiece she said she will only charge us if we want to buy it. Also, if I want sample bouquets I have to pay.
They should make a sample what if you don't like how it turns out or you want to change it?

$160???? That's crazy. Our florist did our sample for free and she gave me a huge bk to take home.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
I highly recommend In Full Bloom. While my wedding is a year away, Marie has been SO helpful and I've already seen a sample centerpiece andI'm not getting married until next year. She does beautiful work!

Re: Sample Centerpiece
We're using Flowers & Design by Gina. She asked me ahead of time what I had in mind and created something off of pictures I sent her. She had two waiting for us when we first met her and it was more than I expected. She gave us one to keep and we hadn't even signed a contract. I like the confidence in that one gesture.
