Hi ladies I need your assistance. I went for my final appointment with Flower Michele tonight and I need to know what you think about the colors I chose. Do you think this is too 'summery' for a fall wedding?
You color are your BM dresses? It is a beautiful centerpiece!

Re: Sample Centerpiece
if you like the colors, don't worry if it looks too spring like for a nov wedding!
i think they are pretty!
if you still want to change something- you could eliminate one of the colors- like the yellow maybe. but i like it the way it is.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
BM dresses are Navy and each of the bm will cary one color of the roses and the MOH will have a combo of all colors.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
It's very pretty .
It's definetly summery colors - but there's nothing wrong with that in the fall, if that's what YOU want. (I don't really follow the whole - let the season dictate the color thing.)

Re: Sample Centerpiece
Instead of the pink roses, can you make them red? Just a suggestion-IMO it does look a little summery to me, but if you love it than that's what counts!

Re: Sample Centerpiece
That's the problem - I don't think I really like it at all.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
I am not too crazy about the yellow roses in there but I really like the stand and the fullness of the CP.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
Ooops - just saw your reply Nov. Ignore my FM!
If you want the fall look...I would take out the pink and purple and replace them with that rusty colored rose - it's yellow and has the orange tips? - and red roses. That would be a nice color combo esp with the navy...imo.
ETS: red as in black magic - burgundy...something dark.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
If you don't like the sample, my colors are lavendar, burgundy, and antique ivory. Maybe something more fall like that would make you happy!
I'll send you a photo via FM of the colors.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
If you are having doubts about it, I would say something. They are there to make you happy. I do like the fullness and style, but like the others say, maybe try that rusty rose color. Best of luck!

Re: Sample Centerpiece
I like the rusty rose idea with a dark burgundy. or maybe ivory roses.
what about a peach colored rose with dark burgundy roses?

Re: Sample Centerpiece
My main concern is that the reds will clash with all of the blue in the room and the girls dresses. I'm afraid I'll have star spangle banner wedding. The room at the watermill has a lot of gold and blue.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
I think it's fine! Who will be thinking about what season your colors are? Besides, with the navy dresses it will pull it together.
Only thing I'd think about is if the colors go with the room you're having your reception in? That was always my first thought when planning.

Re: Sample Centerpiece
I like it, but if you are looking for a fally look/of have a fall theme, then no, I don't think it's got it. What about addind some blue 'filler' flowers into the c-piece to tie it into the dresses? or maybe chooseing different/deeper/richer colors for the BMs... Here are c-peices with some blue mixed in, with color....
