Sample Centerpieces

Sample Centerpieces

This may be a stupid question but I visited with two florists. We discussed centerpiece arrangements but I did not get to see a sample. I can call them and ask them to set up a sample so that I can view it, with no obligation, right?

they should provide a sample probably after you book with them -

My florist provides it after booking - about 2 months before the wedding. However, they had sample CPs for other people all over the place in the store, so I was able to get an idea of what I wanted. I also got to see about a million pictures of bouquets and CPs...

I will view a sample of my centerpiece about 2 mos before the big day, but when I was there before I booked the florist brought me in the shop and showed me other brides' bouquets and centerpieces that were getting ready to be delivered so that I saw the florist's style and quality.

Yes, they dont do it immediately after booking...theyll set up a time before the wedding, usually a few months before and do a sample for you.

I think they should provide a sample before you book- what if you totally end up not liking them? Def call and ask to see a sample to help you decide if you want to use them. they should be able to do it.

you can change it at anytime...they'll show you pics of what you are looking for or for example pedestals has a bunch of sample cp's around their showroom, and infact we saw one there and wanted that.

We were told that we can change our flowers at anytime and she said after the cp if we want to add something, take something our or completely change it then its fine

I had 2 of the 3 florists I met with make me up a sample before booking. I think you should definitely ask.

Re: Sample Centerpieces

I went to see 4 florists this past Sunday.

#1 said that she would make a sample before booking

#2 did a rough sample on the spot with what he had. I thought that was really sweet. He had rose petals, votive candles and everything! But that may be because we wanted something very simple. I forgot to ask if he would do another sample for us before/after booking

#3 would not do a sample until after booking and would not give us a list of the flowers we talked about until after booking. she would also not do a sample until a month before the wedding.

#4 did samples for us on the spot so that we could brainstorm our options. that was awesome. i think they said they would also do another sample for us after booking.

point being...it varies...i would definitely ask to see a sample before booking, but i can understand how some places wouldn't do it because it is a waste of $$ and labor for them if you don't book. i agree, though, i'd like to see a sample before booking.
