Sample letter

Hi girls,

I have asked our priest to write a letter confirming that we are getting married at his church. However, he told me that I need to write it and he will sign it. I need it so my family could get a visa to come to US for my wedding. Does anyone know how this letter should look? Any samples? I am searching the internet but I am getting nothing..

i think it can be very simply stated.

such as:

To whom it may concern:

Jane Doe and John Doe are completeing (if thats the correct word to use???) sacrament of marriage on such and such date at name and address of church.

Maybe you can call whomever needs to accept this letter and ask them what information needs to be included?

This is not quite right on, but should give u an idea
