I've made these rough samples of programs today for my sisters wedding in August. Please let me know which you like best.
The first few pics are made of a taffeta moire fabric cover and they are quite time consuming
The other is a vellum overlay that matches her wedding invitation paper almost exactly(they are a pocketfold with beige Anna Griffin). NOTE that the ribbon I used was what I had on hand and I will use a larger one and prob increase the font and add a bit more text to beef it up. Like include the Chrurch, city and state.
I like the one with the vellum overlay better... very elegant!

I like the vellum overlay one better too!
Can I just ask...how did you punch the hole to tie the ribbon? Did you just use a regular whole punch with 2 holes close together? It doesn't look like that from what I see in the picture, so I was just wondering. TIA

I actually bought a special hole punch at AC Moore that makes 2 punches close together in one punch. They are thin and rectangular shaped. I love it b/c I'm not good with alignment and spacing. I think it was around $7.

Re: Sample programs...please choose
i LOVE the moire program - perhaps that is why my programs are moire
but they are both very nice, if the velum one is easier - maybe it is better - you can't go wrong with either
Good luck
