San Generro Feast

in Little Italy.

Did anyone else go this weekend?

I went yesterday afternoon. It was pretty fun. I ate shish kabobs and watered down pina coladas. They had DEEP FRIED OREOS and deep fried whole snickers bars!!!! Has anyone ever tried these? They looked good but I think I would gain 10 pounds holding them.

Depends on the weather, some years it's disgusting, it's so crowded!!!!

I didn't go this year because we're in London, but we usually do go. I love sausage & peppers

maybe we'll go this year- we got to Little Italy all the time- so it's nothing TOO special to me.. although I do love the stuffed artichokes- my fav food of all times.

We stayed away this weekend because of the crowds and are going to go one night this week. We have been going for the last few years.

From what I saw, dont even try to drive there. I took the F and got off at Broadway Lafayette (the B, D, and V go there too) and walked down Houston 3 blocks to the feast.

I go every year with my friend during the day. We always have a great time and buy some sort of jewlery.

I usually go but couldn't this year
was the crazy dunking clowns there...they are the best part of the feast!

We used to go every year religiously---but we are trying to go this weekend--It is still on right?????

The reason why we stopped going as each year we went, it was more and more crowded---But I miss it, I want to go !!!

I went on Sunday night and it was not that crowded.

I had the fried oreos for the first time. So good!

I went on Saturday night. I had a Pina Colada in a coconut. FH had some zeppeli's and the fried oreo's. I had the fried oreo's and fried twinkie at the San Diego fair, so good. It was a little crowded but I am sure if it weren't raining all day it would have been worse. We took the train in.
