Re: San Gennaro festival question
You can get almost any type of Italian food you can think of (you'll be surprised) plus all the 'festival/carnival' type foods. But if you want to break your diet, may I suggest the fried Oreos.... TO DIE FOR!

OK. I had a gyro. Not the best but I'll get over it. And, of course, I had a few zeppoli. Ugh. Why oh why. Mucho exercising tomorrow! Might get up 1 hour early (yeah right) to exercise. I would have had a gelato but by the time we got to the end and back I didn't want to go and find a gelato booth so I just had the zeppoli.
It's going on until this weekend. Mulberry Street between Canal and Houston. But it's mostly food vendors and it's zeppoli guy, daquiri guy, sausage guy, pizza guy, gelato guy, zeppoli guy, daquiri guy, etc etc etc with some cheezy jewelry vendors and italian cd vendors and t-shirt with cheezy saying vendors thrown in. The most interesting thing was watching the 'drown the clown' booth.
I used to have so much fun at the festival. I wonder what happened??

I'm thinking of going in this weekend because I really want a fried Oreo. How long does it go for? If I go on Saturday, will I be ok?
