Sand Castle Brides...question

Hey ladies, I went to Sand Castle tonight and loved it. They offer so much and the place is beautiful! The quote was a bit high but for what you are getting it makes sense. I was wondering if anyone is getting married either in September or October of 2011-2012. I looked into September and I am just curious to know if the price quotes match. Would greatly appreciate it if any of you would share this information. If you are not comfortable leaving it here, please message me. Thanks a bunch.

Sorry can't really help you with your question because we haven't even gone looking yet.
But just wanted to say the place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! ..my favorite so far, by looking at pictures!

I was wondering, what was your minimum?
Good Luck!

Hey, thank you. Our minimum for Friday night is 150. Now the great thing about a Friday aside from the fact that you get quoted less and the guarantee is less is...

you get the entire day to yourself. There is no party before you. You can get there as early as you would like to! Your guest will arrive an have a hospitality HOUR with open bar and passed or derves. Then your ceremony will begin (if you are having it there) for a half hour. And then your cocktail begins. Your reception there is 5 hours. You get a total of 7 & half hours (with ceremony). Plus you can arrive as early as you'd like for pictures. It really is beautiful.

Don't forget that the price includes things that other halls make you pay extra for

you get the seafood boat which is extra at other halls and the venetian hour as well

Plus it comes with a hotel stay in greece which they say is free but in my opinion it is built into the price

We looked for April of 2011 and were quoted like 135 per person before tax and tip

it was a bit too deep for my pocket but i have attended a wedding there and their lamb is out of this world

In my opinion, The Sandcastle is worth every penny!! But don't be afraid to negociate if you need a lower price -- worst they can say is no.

They really do go to great lengths to make your wedding special. My wedding was in March and we still hear from people that it was the best they've been too. The food is outstanding (best filet mignon) and the cocktail hour before cocktail hour was a big hit.

I took the honeymoon in Greece and honestly, I would look at it as a signing bonus -- you have to be happy with the deal/place for your day, then figure out the honeymoon.
good luck!

Hey There! I am currently book'd @ the SC for 2-2011. This was the first venue my fiance & I checked out. The price quote given to us was immensely larger (esp as a Winter Wedding) than n e other location we visited. Besides, I felt no where else was as perfect as SC. The fact that the place is YOURS all day. I hate going to weddings and seeing 4 other brides walking around. Even thou other places were cheaper, I called SC to have a sit-down with them. They did what they could to bring the price to my budget. I just chose the Gold menu, which doesnt include Venetian hour. Doin this brought my price down atleast $20 a head. I am in love with the SC! Did n e 1 c all the renovations? soo many surprises for your guests! OOOO's & Ahhhh's ...As far as the honeymoon.. It turns out the place in Greece is ONLY open from April-October so I will not be goin there for my Honeymoon in February. However, they extended the option of goin til July 2011. So, we'll c! ---Good Luck!

We're booked for april 2012 and im so excited! I went to look at a bunch of different places and they all seemed to have the typical carpet and more than 1 event going on......SC may seem pricey but if you compare what you automatically get (seafood boat, ice sculptures, only event) it really is worth it..... i wanted an outdoor cocktail hour but since my wedding is in april i was a little worried about the weather....at SC cocktail hour can be indoor/outdoor at the same time.....i prob could keep going on but i was really sold after i went to a wedding this august where the person paid $400 pp (at a different rh) and it didnt even seem like it could compare to what SC offered....everyone there is really nice and they will work with pricing.
