Sand Castle seating

Sand castle had told us 16 max per table, so we tried to keep it at 14 max. I spoke with someone today and said they had 14 at their table at SC and it was squished. Anyone else have a seating experience at Sand Castle or for SC brides-how many are you putting at a table?!

Those must be pretty big tables! Floral Terrace, which I think is there sister RH, is only 10 people max per table.

Too late now for us. We mixed ours up for thr most part but do have one table of 16 bc I didn't want to split the group up. Maybe I'll tell the maitre d to ask if someone would like to move or something.

There were 16 at each table at my best friends wedding last December and we were fine.

What was annoying though is that they had an extra chair for the Bride to 'visit'. She never did need it and they wouldn't let us get rid of it which would have made things more roomy.

It was strange, I kept moving the chair to the side and they kept moving it back. It was just the waiters, not like the banquet manager or maitre'd or anything. I would just let them know it's not necessary for you and I'm sure they won't put it in.

Re: Sand Castle seating

PS; went there last night and the tables were all set up for 10. There was alot of room with 10. FH and I played with seats. 12 is a good number to have. 14 might be a little tight, but not where elbows are bumping when eating.... 16 does not look comfortable.
HTH
