I went to make a payment at my hall, Sand Castle, and out of curiousity I asked them if they have pitchers of soda & water on the table and was told NO! it's not there policy. Early on I had asked them if they serve bottled beer and they had said yes, now they're telling me it is bottled beer, but they serve it in glasses. I know this is minor stuff, but it still upsets me. My FH's family is older & I can't see them constantly getting up for water or soda or my friends getting little glasses of beer. We are paying for the Millenium package (450 on the guest list), so I am not trying to scrimp with them, but I feel like they are trying to scrimp with me. Can anyone let me know if they have attended a wedding there recently and how the service was, especially the drink service?
at my cousins wedding...my sister (a BM) had a bottle of beer in her hand...my older aunt came up to her and said...'M you should have a glass for that...its not very ladylike.'

we specifically asked that the beer be served in glasses and not in bottles.
