Sand Ceremony

Ok girls, Im doing a sand ceremony during my ceremony on the 6th instead of a unity candle and stuff. We are incorporating our son in there too, instead of parents it'll be us pouring and him uniting us with the top sand...I thought it would be cute

So anyway, what Im wondering is....is there a blessing or something that goes along with this? Has anybody done/or is also doing this and can help me out? As of right now, all I know is we will be pouring our sand into a unity jar....haha. TIA!

We did this because i had 2 children from a previous marriage. Before we poured the sand, the minister (non denominational) explained the significance of the sand ceremony to our guests... then we poured... everyone thought it was beautiful...it is a great way to include your son!! & also makes a beautiful keepsake!
