Re: Sandals Grande St Lucia
I stayed in the Ocean Front room. It faces the back of the hotel & the ocean is a good 100 feet away from your balcony. But it's nice & quiet. But we also stayed about 2 or three buildings away from the main building so depends on how close you want to be to things. I believe the beach front are the rooms that face into the main grounds of the hotel where the pool & the restaurants & stuff are. Also, we walked around & saw the swim up pool rooms and were glad we didn't book one. Not sure if all of them do but the ones we saw had 2 or 3 rooms connected to the same pool so you do technically share the pool with people. HTH's

I went to sandals Grande! We stayed in the Beachfront Honeymoon Concierge room. It was great. The view was amazing. For your honeymoon I think its so worth it for the more expensive room. My review of sandals grande st Lucia is up if you want to check it out!

Re: Sandals Grande St Lucia
FH and I booked at Sandals and got a 'premium' room. We figured that we'd save some money for other things. Plus we figured we'd be at the beach a lot and/or doing other things. Anytime we're in the room...we wouldn't really care about the view outside......

We also booked a premium room. I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend

Re: Sandals Grande St Lucia
We stayed in an Ocean Front room. Totally worth it. We were at the back of the hotel, not facing any pools. Loved it, it was wonderfully quiet, and we had a fabulous view. Wonder if I can post a shot. It cost more, but not that much more. We decided not to do concierge, and that was fine, we didn't need it anyway. And the butler rooms sound wonderful, but they're SO expensive. Our room was large and really comfortable. That's the view to the sides, I don't have a good shot of the water right in front. You could see it quite clearly, there was even a big rock out there.
